I started painting in 2018, looking for a language that would help me understand and differentiate what is mine and what belongs to the world. The first medium I used was watercolor. Oil paint came a little later. To me, painting is an attempt to transform the difficult into the beautiful. Some kind of alchemy, coal into gold. I am trying to materialise my inner worlds. I look for colors, shapes and symbols that reflect the atmosphere of experiences, thoughts and feelings. The way I work is closely related to what I experience, what I read about, what absorbs and touches me. I collect feelings, thoughts, smells until I can no longer contain them. So the starting point is often a certain tension that I need to resolve. I am looking for a place where there is no division between the inside and outside. Where what I need to see is poured out onto the canvas. I devote a lot of time to learning. I am perplexed by color, depth psychology, philosophy, botany and the human body.
